1. Port of Ningbo-Zhoushan , China 

This chinese port is the most busiest port in the world. It is located just below the Shanghai port .  it handled 888.96 million tons cargoes in 2015, and keep ranking first of all the cargo ports around the world.

The Port of Ningbo-Zhoushan complex is a modern multi-purpose deep water port, consisting of inland, estuary, and coastal harbors. There are a total of 191 berths including 39 deep water berths with 10,000 and more tonnage.

 

 

2.Shanghai, China

This harbor in china overtook Singapore harbor by about  0.5 million TEU’s in 2010 and from then it is ranking 1 . most of you know shanghai is in china obviously but can you locate shanghai in world map ? being a navigator its very important to know where these places are in world map.

the port of shanghai is about 421 kilometers southeast of the Port of Lianyungang and about 430 nautical miles north of the Port of Taipei.

It was build in 1819 , and it is considered as backbone of Singapore economy as Singapore don’t have much land and natural resources .

It is ranked as the top maritime capital of the world, since 2015. Currently the world’s second-busiest port in terms of total shipping tonnage.
