Magnolia Sun-Set Point, Netarhat.

The Magnolia Sunset point is an epitome of eternal love and sacrifice. The legends say that Magnolia, British Maiden, Jumped off along-with her horse, into the unfathomable depths of this valley because failing to unite with her beloved, a local shepherd.

This is one of the 4 important places that people visit in Netarhat. Other than this Sunset point you can visit the sunrise point, Naspati Bagan and Netarhat School. In my opinion, Netarhat is an Overrated place. Don’t go with a lot of expectations.

Place where houses don’t have doors, Shani Shingnapur

Imagine a village where homes have no front doors, shops are always left unlocked and people don’t feel unsafe. A place in Indian State of Maharashtra where people have so much Faith in Lord Shani (The god of Saturn) that they don’t have doors in their house.

People say that some hundreds of years ago flood was faced in Shingnapur, A heavy black rock was found near the shore of Panasnala River after the flood, which people say once flowed through the village. When villagers touched the rock blood started coming out of that Black Rock. Later that night village mukhiya saw a dream and Shani temple was constructed.

Ramrekha Dham an unseen Beauty.

Ramrekha Dham is one of the most beautiful places in Jharkhand but being 159 Km away from Ranchi this place is not known by a lot of people. This place is clean and well maintained. I will suggest you to visit this place at least once. Being in such an interior place, people might think this is not safe to visit. I did a survey asking a lot many people about this place and their experience, finally I can say this place is safe to visit.

The point is a religious one as per Ramayan, Lord Rama along with Devi Sita and Lakshman spend a few days during the Exile.

Above image is the Entrance to Ramrekha Dham, Drive slowly so that you enjoy the beautiful scenery and also be safe. The road is narrow obviously, bit dangerous at some points. On reaching the top you can park your vehicle. There is no parking charges (as per our visit on 03/08/2019)

Another very beautiful spot near Ramrekha Dham is Kelaghagh Dam. Ramrekha Dham and Kelaghagh dam Both Places are close to each other and you must visit both of them. Posting some of the images we took near Ramrekha Dham.

Paradise in Jharkhand, Kurdeg

Kurdeg is a very small place, located around 200 Km from Capital Ranchi and 45 kilometres from simdega. The place not so developed having a very little population don’t have pollution too. You can hardly find wrappers, plastic packets, plastic bottles. less population means less pollution.

Mobile network is hardly available here, you can not find any other sim then Airtel working here. Thank you to the government road is too good and even the development on the governments part like government hospital, Police station, forest offices are operating perfectly.

You can come to this place and enjoy the nature without pollution. It is a nice place if you want a break from city life, noise pollution and air pollution. You can not find a hotel to stay so you will have to take a place in simdega about 45 kilometres from this place.
